ISF 2014  - Summing it up
ISF 2014 is Thailand’s premier international security & safety expo & forum and is destined to be the best known and most respected security event in the region. The show works closely with both local and overseas government authorities and provides exhibitors a unique opportunity to demonstrate and display their products and services. It is also an ideal venue to launch new product innovations and the latest security and safety technology. ISF allows visitors to inspect and procure equipment at one central location - some of which will be shown in the region for the very first time.

When is the exhibition held?
ISF 2014 will take place in Bangkok from 4-7 November, 2014.
Where is the exhibition being held?
The exhibition is being held at the IMPACT Convention and Exhibition Centre which is within easy access of the expressway system, and convenient to reach from anywhere in Bangkok.  
What are the hours of the exhibition?
The show is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  
Do visitors need to register to attend ISF 2014?  
All visitors may pre-register online or by completing a registration form at the entrance. By pre-registering visitors will receive their admission code in advance and avoid queues. It’s the most convenient way to attend.
How do I pre-register?   
Visitors can pre-register online register or by fax. ISF 2014 is a trade exhibition and restricted to professionals in relevant industries. You will be notified by email regarding confirmation of your application within 14 working days.

If I pre-register online and have not received a response after 14 working days how do I check the status of my registration?
Email us at wilanee.j@ubm.com, with the subject line: Status of Online Pre-Registration. Highlight your name, company, job title and email address used to register. We will check on the situation and get back to you as soon as possible.  
If I have registered for the exhibition, can I attend on more than one day?
Yes, registration gives you access to the show on all four days of the event.  
Can my children visit the show with me?
Sorry, ISF 2014 is for PROFESSIONALS ONLY. The exhibition is open to private and public sector personnel in the security and safety industry from Asia and around the world. Some of the areas represented will include:

Children under 18 years will not be permitted entrance to the show.
What is the Dress Code?
All visitors must be in proper attire. People in shorts, sleeveless T-shirts, flip flops or sandals will not be permitted to enter.
May I bring my camcorder and camera?
Unfortunately, photography is not allowed at the exhibition.  
Where do I park and how much does it cost?   
     On entry to IMPACT you will see Parking clearly sign-posted.

- Outdoor parking is FREE of charge. Please follow the signage.
- Parking rates at Challenger Halls are as follows:
            First 3 hours: THB 30
            After first 3 hours: THB 20 per hour

Shuttle bus service is provided from the outdoor parking area to hall entrance.

However, there have been positive efforts to improve previous approaches. For example, the amount of disaster risk reduction investment by the Government of Indonesia has grown from less than 0.6 of their total budget in 2006 to more than 1 per cent in 2012.

 

The economic cost and consequences of Thailand’s recent floods, with total losses of THB 1.43 trillion ($46.5 billion) resulted in physical damage totaling THB 630.3 billion ($20.5 billion. And additional losses in associated economic activities has been estimated at THB 795 billion ($26 billion).
